Group Sessions

Sessions incorporate guided movement, art, and writing, along with group sharing. Each session is focused on a theme. We use movement to interact and explore our inner language such as imagination, memory, and senses. We then use art and writing to make meaning of it that we apply to our life.

What’s the benefit of working in groups?

Each person holds their own innate knowledge that is powerful and unique. This knowledge serves as a resource for oneself, and also as a collective wisdom. Sharing is an opportunity to practice inclusivity and learn from each other within the group- the diversity of our bodies, backgrounds, and experiences.

Please have these items accessible for the session:

  • Uninterrupted, quiet space
  • Journal/notebook + Pen
  • Art materials of choice (ex: crayons, watercolors, or color pens)

Optional:

  • A small personal object that fits in your hand (grounding and centering)
  • Water/Water bottle

Note: Only in-person events include art supplies of watercolors, crayons, colored pens, and paper.
