PERMISSION

AN UNSTRUCTURED INTENSIVE

Saturday, Sept 19, 2026 from 5:00pm-9:30pm ET, Dumbo, Brooklyn

6-10 participants

Cost: Sliding Scale $175-$225

PERMISSION is a half day of exploration work where we allow ourselves to sink in, dive further, and linger in our body's knowledge. Dance and movement expression has been a way to connect, manifest, heal, communicate, and to celebrate for thousands of years. It's a language that belongs to us all.

Navigating today's world of high input, increased isolation, and unreasonable expectations, PERMISSION is my invitation for you to come back to what dance and movement means to our body, as well as expand the idea of what it can be. We'll soften and release by challenging beliefs and patterns that we embody, and learn what it's like to shift narratives when needed.

Throughout this intensive we may question more than we have answers as we give ourselves permission not to know- yet- and that’s okay. We'll unearth the joy, passion, and creativity our bodies have inherited from our beginnings and allow that to guide us ahead as it has done for generations.

PERMISSION is created as an experience to go on your own movement journey, to harness with core parts of you in case you forgot or letting them stay quiet.

In addition, PERMISSION includes 3 simple body-mind connection tools that you can use in the future to help ground and integrate what you discover during our time together.

This overview (see image) is less of a schedule as it is a “journey map.” It’s meant to give you idea of how we move though the intensive but the time blocks will change slightly depending on explorations, shares, and reflections. Unstructured remains a co-creative space where the pacing relies on everyone's contribution to space/time.

Rundown Overview

I suggest you create some space for yourself before the intensive, perhaps some journaling or mindful movement as a way to see where you're at and recheck boundaries and energy. This makes it easier to arrive, be present as well as integrate afterwards.
