Fellow

adoptees Only

I’m a TRA intercountry adoptee from Indonesia to Sweden. I host bodymind movement and creative art sessions tailored for adult adoptees only.

The focus of these sessions is the exploration of our adoptee journeys through guided movement, visual art and writing. These group sessions are designed to help adoptees give ourselves permission and grace to ask difficult questions, hold the things known and the things unknown, as well as embody to the stories carried in our bones without judgement.

These spaces are my commitment to supporting fellow adoptees in reclaiming our voices and reshaping the narrative.

Narratives and the Adoptee Body- A Movement and Creative Arts Workshop (Virtual Session)

We all hold narrative in our bodies—some that protect us, some that we’ve outgrown. But just like us, narratives can shift and change. This workshop is a space to explore the relationship to those narratives through guided movement, dance, and creative arts expression. We’ll be using prompt-based exercises to connect body and mind. Through simple somatic awareness skills, we’ll listen to what our bodies have to say, discover creative ways to express ourselves, and create space for what we need. No experience needed—just curiosity and an open mind.

Purpose: An opportunity to reconnect with our body’s wisdom and resources through guided movement, dance, and creative arts.

What to bring:

  • Bring your preferred art material such as Crayons, colored pens/pencils and watercolor along with a drawing pad.

  • Uninterrupted space where you can move around and make sound (space doesn’t have to be larger than the size of a yoga mat)

  • Comfortable clothing

Camera/Microphone: I encourage everyone to keep their cameras on during the session, even if that means pointing it toward your lower legs or feet. This helps create a sense of togetherness, making it feel more like we're in the same space—just as we would be in person.
