Hello there…

I apologize for this very delayed post. I realized last year that while I may love to write, I’m not a blogger. I tried several times to sit down and share my every day life during my Fulbright year, but it was like I had a complete brain freeze every time.

Honestly, I didn’t write much at all last year. The year of the snake really put me to work on a lot of other things except writing. But I’ve been writing ever since my Fulbright ended back in January.

I signed up for Substack https://substack.com/@annagrundstrom and will be sharing one story per week there, around 500-800 words (yes, you can hold me accountable) from now on. It feels really good to write. I’m excited to share my writing, and also to become a better writer. My first real post will be tomorrow Sunday in the morning here in Indonesia, and the story is about my name.

Thank you for being here, and for supporting my blog that never happened. I still feel the love across oceans, and it means a lot to me that you’re here. I hope you will keep reading what I write on Substack. Please follow me there. I will not bail this time, I promise.
